Project to Empower Women

Nov, 2021 – Ultimates Care Trust launches the project CoMagal exclusively for women from families who have lost their breadwinner and livelihood due to COVID -19.

The pandemic had an unprecedented challenge to public health, livelihood causing a huge economic and social disruption particularly in a developing country like India.

Many a philanthropist, support organizations and Government did their best to alleviate the crisis but it would only be a temporary solution.

A long-term solution would be to empower them to seek their livelihood and that is the primary objective of CoMagal Project.

“On 23rd Aug 2022, first batch of 13 women who were trained in stitching at Govt. training institutes from Vellore and Chennai were identified and placed in M/s TKL KNITS INDIA PVT LIMITED, Coimbatore. Beneficiaries were handed over the appointment letters by Honorable Minister of Tamil Nadu, Ms. P. Geetha Jeevan at a function held at Coimbatore”
